Come and experience a One Day Kayaking Photo Tour of some of the very best rookeries in Louisiana.

This trip will start with an easy morning paddle suitable for beginner paddlers and novices. We do all the muscle work, we prep the kayak and help with the launch. You don’t have to worry about getting your feet wet or falling in. We call this a concierge launch and retrieve, safety being our priority. We use only double hull Native Ultimate FX Kayaks and provide all the safety gear. Instruction on paddling and comfort while in the Kayak included.

We recommend your camera gear be stored in a dry bag as you launch and exit the kayak as those are the two time we are extra cautious.

These day trips do not include photographic instruction or assistance so know your camera.

We recommend a 70-200mm and 100-400mm lens, or longer if you have them.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by you

We recommend you take out travel and cancellation insurance from a reliable third party on the web. From our experience, InsureMyTrip makes it easy to get quotes from multiple companies in seconds.

We will confirm receipt of your payment by email and/or telephone. If payment is not received within 48 hours of scheduling your date, we will contact you via a courtesy telephone call or email, provided you have supplied us with that information to keep your reservation. If we do not get a response within 48 hours, your reservation will be forfeited and filled from our waiting list.

The weather here in Louisiana is guaranteed to change and we try to mitigate any negative impact by the number of days offered in the workshop. There will be NO REFUND for weather delay or cancellation during the scheduled workshop. We will however work with you to reschedule another date to enjoy the Atchafalaya at no cost. Any additional costs that you may incur due to weather delays or cancellations due to flight delays or otherwise are not our responsibility.

Cancellation/changes by us

We are not responsible for cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond our control. In the unlikely event of the trip being canceled by us, all monies paid will be refunded. That is the limit of our liability. We are not responsible for any expenses you incur, including non-refundable airline tickets or any other costs. We also have the right to replace a tour leader in case of any unforeseen event, including failure to meet minimum group size.
