How about 18 foot Diameter trees

Some of trees in this area are estimated at over 1200 years old.

There are areas perfectly safe to walk the swamps

But most choose to paddle in kayaks, which are specially chosen for our photographic needs. Open bow, double-hulled, very stable kayaks with plenty of room for gear and a comfortable mesh seat with an adjustable backrest.

Wildlife abounds

There are quite a few wading birds available to photograph in the fall: Great egrets, Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, White Ibis, Brown Pelicans, White Pelicans, Roseate Spoonbills, Night Herons, Tri-color herons, and more. Including eagles, osprey, and owls, as well as a varied and interesting assortment of smaller warblers, including the prothonotary warbler.
