Our tours fill up fast. Participation is only reserved on receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $500 USD. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will contact you and include an "Enrollment and Assumption of Risk Waiver" document to be completed, signed and granted as a condition of participating on this trip.

Remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the workshop date, unless otherwise noted. If we do not receive the balance on or before the due date, we will attempt to fill your spot from the waiting list subject to our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by you

We recommend that you take out travel insurance and cancellation insurance from a reliable third party on the web. From our experience, InsureMyTrip makes it easy as you can get quotes from multiple companies in seconds.

Your deposit is non refundable unless we can replace your spot on the tour. In that case, we will provide a full refund minus a $150 processing fee. Otherwise, your travel insurance should help you cover the costs of the trip.

We will confirm receipt of your payment by email and/or telephone. In the event payment is not received within 10 days of the booking date, we will contact you via either courtesy telephone call or email provided you have supplied us with that information. If it is determined that payment was lost or delayed in the mail, you will be given the opportunity to overnight it via Fed Ex or wire the payment to keep your reservation. If we do not get a response within 48 hours, your reservation will be forfeited and filled from our waiting list.

Weather here in Louisiana is guaranteed to change and we try to mitigate any negative impact by the number of days offered in the workshop. There will be NO REFUND for weather delay or cancellation during the scheduled workshop. Any additional costs that may be incurred by you due to weather delays or cancellations due to flight delays, or otherwise are not our responsibility.

Cancellation/changes by us

We are not responsible for cancellation due to unforeseen events that are beyond our control. In the unlikely event of the trip being cancelled by us, all monies paid will be refunded. That is the limit of our liability. We are not responsible for any expenses you incur including non-refundable airline tickets or any other costs. We also have the right to replace a tour leader in case of any unforeseen event including failure to meet minimum group size.
